Southstar Drug is pleased to announce the appointment of Thaddeus "Thad" L. Sanchez as its new General Manager, effective November 1, 2024. Thad brings a wealth of experience and expertise that will further drive Southstar Drug’s growth and commitment to operational excellence.
Since joining Southstar Drug in 2016 as AVP-Operations, Thad has demonstrated remarkable leadership and strategic vision. His promotion to Deputy General Manager in 2022 further solidified his role in steering the company toward success. Thad has been instrumental in overseeing the expansion of Southstar Drug’s store network, growing it from 412 to 672 stores, and achieving 10.3% year-over-year sales growth as of July 2024.
In addition to his extensive background in the pharmaceutical industry, Thad’s contributions include modernizing our warehouse systems, enhancing supply chain management, and ensuring Southstar Drug remains customer-focused and innovative in delivering healthcare services.
