CONTRA INDICATIONS: Patients with known hypersensitivity to Itraconazole
PRECAUTIONS: Itraconazole has been shown to have a negative inotropic effect and associated with reports of congestive heart failure
SIDE EFFECTS: The most frequently reported adverse effects were of gastrointestinal (GI) origin eg, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, nausea and constipation
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Interaction studies have been performed with rifampicin, rifabutin and phenytoin
