PONSTAN is used to relieve the symptoms of period pain, treat heavy periods and manage pain or heavy bleeding due to the use of an intrauterine device. It also provides short term relief of pain in conditions such as arthritic pain, muscle and joint injuries such as sprains, strains and tendonitis; dental pain.
